When the frosticals appear.....

A crisp, chilly day at Strumpshaw: plenty of rats, plenty of laughs in Fen Hide, but few birds. I did manage distant views of an ice skating Water Pipit and better ones of a cute Bank Vole.....
Half the reserve was closed due to flooding :(
Sad weekend: one of my great heroes passed away.
