Sometimes all the breaks go your way, sometimes they don't... Today they did! Linda and I have been obliged to be at home for three days (new patio being laid!) and also had yesterday's enjoyable day at the Church keeping me local. Today we had business in south Norfolk, so couldn't contemplate going for the outrageously long-staying Bee-eater at Winterton until after lunch.
Amazingly we drove into the town, parked in North Market Road with absolutely no problem and were enjoying this exotic visitor within two minutes! I suppose if all twitches were this easy, there'd be no challenge!
We were home in time to shake our heads in disbelief at the antics of the two Mercedes drivers: sort it out, boys!
