Our Cotoneaster and Sycamore have been full of Redwings all day: although the light hasn't been good, it's been fascinating to watch these dapper little thrushes interacting with the regular garden birds...

This afternoon I noticed that RBA reported a Glaucous Gull less than a mile from my front door: no details, so I drove round the back lanes searching for Gulls. All I found were some Black-headeds and a few Herrings following a tractor at Salhouse..
