Fabulous crescent Moon and two planets...

At sunset last night the Moon appeared as a thin crescent, just above the horizon: to the south Venus was a brilliant object with a visible phase. Tonight the Moon will be close to Jupiter, which is the second brightest planet in the night sky - well worth a look with a birding scope or binoculars
