A brief sunny interval between the showers persuaded me to take a seven-mile walk around the patch. Just a Water Rail at Strumpshaw, but Treecreeper, Green Woodpecker, 12 Bean Geese, 300+ Pinkfeet and the Peregrines at Buckenham.
