Still dripping with cold etc etc, I spent a couple of hours at my favourite little carp lake near Cantley.
The fish were preoccupied with spawning, so just a few line bites but no strikeable runs. However, the hot weather brought out a wealth of damselflies: Large Red-eyed, Variable, Blue-tailed, Common Blue and Large Red were all flying in numbers, while Dragons included Broad-bodied & Scarce Chasers and a few Hairy Dragonflies!
