A solo walk around the Fen was quite productive: a pair of Common Terns with a juvenile, lots of Grass Snakes, Black-tailed Skimmers, Scarce Chasers, Southern, Brown & Norfolk Hawkers still and a gorgeous Brown Argus. Other birds included Bittern, Buzzard and Bearded Tit. A female Emperor (with male in attendance!) was ovipositing on a mossy trunk by the dipping pool!
