An hour at the beach carpark revealed a steady stream of seabirds passing in both directions: Sooty & Manx Shearwaters, Bonxies, Arctic & Pomarine Skuas, sea duck, Little Auks, R T Divers, Gannets and Kittiwakes.
After a fruitless phalarope search from the centre hides, we adjourned for coffee before a move to Salthouse beach. As we drove along the road towards the beach, a delightful Snow Bunting flew in front of the van and dropped down right by the road, allowing super views.
A walk to Gramborough Hill produced a couple of distant Twite but little else.
