Linda's birthday celebrations included a day's shopping in Windsor (ouch!) with her Mum and little sister and a terrific lunch at Cote Brasserie. The food was excellent and really good value: the manager brought Linda a chocolate fondant with ice cream and a candle - a nice touch!
I'm still excited by the sight of Red Kites drifting over the rooftops: Windsor's main shopping street had several patrolling the skies while we were there. I imagine this is pretty much how things were in London back in Shakespeare's time!
