Odds and ends at the Fen..

There have been a few interesting birds at Strumpshaw recently, including three Pintail in front of Reception. On my walk round, however, the birds were a little thin on the ground: Kingfisher, Stonechat, Marsh Tit and a few Water Deer were the highlights. Still: it's a beautiful place in the winter and there's always the chance of something special turning up.
