Beccles Antiques Market

Each year, the town centre of Beccles in Suffolk is closed to traffic so that antiques dealers from all over the region can stall out for the day. For once the weather was perfect and Linda and I were glad we arrived early - eight o'clock, in fact - because the carparks soon filled!

As usual there was lots to see (no new Wade, sadly) and we bought some great architectural items for the garden from our regular dealer in such things: my favourite was the French wrought iron plant stand (See last photo!)

It's a terrific place to wander around with a camera: if I were an artist, I reckon I'd've captured enough images to keep me busy for a year!
