There was a beautiful waxing Moon last night: the two largest ray craters, Tycho and Copernicus were particularly splendid, while the dark-floored Plato and 'flooded crater' Archimedes are really obvious. It's amazing how much detail can be picked out on these images, which were taken with a 500mm zoom and 1.4 converter.
