Rising above the northern horizon just before midnight, the comet has grown a really long tail and has brightened considerably: so much so that I could see it with the naked eye from my front and back gardens (Despite security lights, garden uplighters etc!)
Well worth staying up late to see: this is the best comet of the decade, even though the waning Moon is lighting up the eastern sky after 1.00am.
