Linda and I took the short drive through the frosty lanes to Buckenham Marsh for a cold, but invigorating walk. The early start meant we were the only people on site, which was a bonus! First bird we see (albeit through the dense mist) was a male Hen Harrier that flew across the path towards Strumpshaw. Lots of other raptors: a Peregrine, Kestrel, seven Marsh Harriers and two Buzzards. Lots of geese too: the Whitefronts were especially good to watch. Other birds of note included several Snipe and a Stonechat.
