The combination of freezing weather, a latish night and tier 4 restrictions meant I didn't leave the house today: nevertheless, I 'managed' to see 12 species from the office window, best of which was a delightful Goldcrest. This is only the second or third we've seen in the garden, although Linda hears them quite frequently.
