From the very end of the garden (behind Linda's beehives!) it's possible to look across open fields to a line of mature Oaks: last year one of these held a family of Little Owls, discovered by friend Peter, who can actually watch the trees from his bedroom window!
Following an e-mail 'heads-up' yesterday, I crept past the hives and took a few shots: you can just make out a couple of Little Owls!
