Honey Buzzard over Hemblington!

Today was the monthly species count at Hemblington Church: the usual 'gang of four' were joined by church volunteers Peter and Gwendoline plus a few hardy souls who enjoyed a decent selection of wildflowers, insects and birds.

Biggest surprise of the session was a Honey Buzzard that circled high over the church before stooping off westwards. This is a first for the survey and the only the third I've seen on the local patch in twenty or so years!
