I crawled out of bed at around 5.00am this morning to take some pictures of the thin, waning crescent Moon. Through binoculars I could see a bright star-like object moving erratically to the south. Not a satellite: the object followed a roughly curved path before crossing over the Moon's surface. Very intriguing!
