I had to pop across to Hoveton for my C-19 booster, so, after the obligatory fifteen minute sit-and-wait, I carried on around the 'loop', stopping at Ludham Bridge (no Cattle Egrets) and then at Waxham Sands. Here there was a huge flock of Pink-footed Geese grazing right by the roadside: I scanned from the car, but couldn't see any strangers with them. Carrying on to Horsey, another similarly-sized flock was by the layby, again allowing a 'through the window' grill. At some point a bullock for no obvious reason suddenly charged into the flock, putting some of them to flight - they soon settled down again!
Great crescent Moon this morning!
