Linda, Sue, Peter and I put together a fabulous picnic, packed the table, chairs and gingham table cloth and set off to Swanton Novers, near Guist. Within half an hour we were enjoying terrific views of a pair of displaying Honey Buzzards, often accompanied by one or two Common Buzzards and - at one point - a Red Kite. Lots of other decent birds, including a bonus Goshawk. Legendary Norfolk bird artist James McCallum kindly took the photo of our picnic! Lots more to report tomorrow!
