The ISS and a sky full of satellites

Since I was already dressed for a North Coast visit, I thought I'd photograph the ISS as it passed over Orion and close to Mars. Thanks to Mr Musk and his spaceflight hobbyists, the night sky is continually criss-crossed by satellites: two bright ones in polar orbits can be seen in the ISS images.

Mars is extraordinarily bright at the moment, comparing very favourably with both Betelgeux and Aldebaran for 'redness'.
