This morning I finally managed to catch up with the snappily-named Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF (Despite the new-build next door being lit up like Heathrow!) At the moment it's just a 6th magnitude fuzzy green ball with a stubby tail: hopefully it will brighten over the next fortnight.
Nearby the Moon was close to Spica, the brightest star in the constellation Virgo..
