Given that our Buddleia bush by the back door has been visited by Silver Y moths for the past few days, it seemed reasonable to expect a Hummingbird Hawkmoth to show up sooner or later: today one did!
These delightful little creatures really do resemble and behave like small birds: they even have a large pupil!
