I'm not a huge fan of 'classic' zoos and animal collections, unless they serve a significant role in conservation. Sir Peter Scott's Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust reserves definitely fall into this category, and the small one at Arundel has had major success with several UK birds and mammals. As well as the network of channels and lagoons which can be enjoyed by electric boat, the aviaries and enclosures also provide a great opportunity to enjoy some amazing waterfowl at close range.
