Despite the impressive influx of Waxwings this winter, so far thrushes have been few and far between: I've seen a handful of Redwings around the village, but no Fieldfares - until today!
I looked up from my PC to see a small flock of six feeding on cotoneaster berries - hitherto this rich crop has been untouched! Dreadful light for photography, but good to see...
