Two days off full...

Saturday sees the second full Moon of the year, which Native Americans allegedly call the Snow Moon. This morning, with two days to go, the gibbous waxing Moon was a beautiful sight just above the western horizon.

About Me

David Bryant: For twenty five years I was the UK's only full time meteorite dealer. I've met and spent time with many astronauts, cosmonauts and pilots. When I'm not looking for birds and other wildlife to photograph, I play guitar and sing in a terrific rock & blues band. My wife Linda and I used to travel all over the UK to see - and video - new birds: three times we took part in the National 24 hour Bird Race with the Cley Casuals team. We won twice and came second once: our highest audited total was 158 species.
During a hectic few years making and selling rare bird videos, we passed 400 species and decided it was time to ease back a bit and now concentrate on the eastern counties.I generally manage to see around 220 species a year: twice I've passed 300
