As well as some interesting birds at Lakenheath yesterday, there were more dragonflies of several species than I've seen for a long time: lots of Hairy Hawkers, Four-spotted Chasers and, most of all, clouds of Scarce Chasers. Both at Lakenheath and Santon Downham there were hundreds of Banded Demoiselles: what beautiful creatures they are!
