It was seeing two bright comets in 1957 (when I was six) that first made me interested in Astronomy. Since those far-off days I've managed to increase the tally to twenty six - not all as impressive as the first ones! (The final one below - Comet Bradfield - I'd forgotten about until I came across this drawing in an old birding field log book!)
