More Cranes than Liverpool Docks!

Great to get out walking again today: just Strumpshaw Fen & Buckenham, but the rain held off and there were some good birds on which to practise manual focus with the new lens...

Other than a pair of displaying Buzzards, Strump was a little quiet (apart from a cute little Vole) until I was leaving, when a flock of Greylags with three associating Cranes flew in, around and off! I decided to follow them eastwards to Cantley to look for the reported Grey Partridges (Aha!) but, failing to find them, went back to Buckenham to finish today's five miles. The very first birds I heard (and saw!) were two of the Cranes heading downstream! Another visitor from the Fen was the 2CY Little Gull, showing beautifully over the river & meadows.
