Insect fill-up!

Bystock Pool near Woodbury is the most amazing place for Odonata: in a couple of hours Linda & I had logged Small Red Damselfly (including, I think, a pale form) Golden-ringed Dragonfly, Keeled Skimmer and Black Darter, as well as a lot of the expected larger species. We also saw a couple of Silver-washed Fritillaries.

Too many cattle wandering over Aylesbeare for good results, but we managed a Dark Green Fritillary and lots of Graylings.
