Autumn sunshine and good company (Sue - one of the Fen's vols) more than made up for the lack of anything spectacular. Highlights were a large pre-dispersal group of Bearded Tits (50+) and this completely dark raptor at Buckenham. Still lots of Migrant Hawkers, Ruddy & Common Darters and Commas.....
I find it amusing that the boys on a certain Forum have only just noticed the vast influx of Jays that I've been commenting on for a fortnight! Saw over 50 at the Fen / Buckenham today and at least ten more driving down there from the Heath.
