I was supposed to be adding WTE to the year list with my usual companion Martin, but was involved in a 'failed to stop RTA' yesterday, and spent most of the morning making a statement: the charming Police woman said that the chances of a prosecution were slight, it being my word against 'his'....
However, I took a walk along the river bank at Buckenham on the way home and jammed in on a nice herd of Bewick's (50+) one of which had a neck collar. Other birds included Buzzard, Little Egret and a distant tussling duo of Short-eared Owls across the river at Claxton. Now why couldn't they have been there when Linda & I were over there last week? LOL!
