Fen Frustration!

Today was the first opportunity to try out the new camera and lens together: it was a sunny day and there were lots of birds and dragonflies about: Hobby, Cuckoo, Sparrowhawk and - a Yare Valley first for me - a Sandwich Tern. The Dr's Garden held plenty of Swallowtails and there were Norfolk Hawkers, Black-tailed Skimmers, Hairies and Banded Damselflies everywhere. Frustratingly, all my batteries and powerpacks somehow depleted themselves over the weekend! Did this have anything to do with our night in Rendlesham Forest? Surely not! But how about the object in the top left of the Buzzard photo I took from the garden yesterday!? (This is a light-hearted comment!)
