It's nearly a week since I've visited SF: pressure of work / family etc, so it was nice to meet up with Brian for a somewhat curtailed walk (River flooding the paths again!)
By the Sandy Path a 'special needs' Green Woodie was hammering away at a steel girder. while my first 'on the deck' Redwing posed distantly.
Fen Hide produced the goods as usual: a Kingfisher and three different Bitterns, as well as Water Rail & Bearded Tit.
The walk back through the woods revealed that someone had put a bit of food on the stump, attracting Marsh Tit, Coal Tit, Nuthatch, Treecreeper and most of the other woodland tits.
Final stop was Reception Hide, where I added Goldeneye to my Strump / Buck list!
