As 'luck' would have it, a 2nd cy female (?) Marsh Harrier nearly landed in  our big sycamore this morning! It seems very similar in colour (but not moult) to yesterday's Strumpshaw bird.

The Yellow Wagtails performed very well at 8.00 this morning: three adult birds on the road and perched on barley stalks: what terrific birds to have 1000m from your front door!
