An eight mile trudge around Buckenham, Cantley & Strumpshaw produced few birds of note (apart from the now-predictable half-dozen Buzzards!) but there were still plenty of insects to brighten the day: I stopped counting Migrant Hawkers after 100, but it was good to see a few Southerns and a Black-tailed Skimmer, as well as a tidy little Small Copper and dozens of Commas....
