The short drive from the M25/M40 junction to Maidenhead produced an astonishing 'haul' of raptors: 1 Buzzard, 1 close Black Kite and 19 Red Kites! (The Black Kite was NOT a Penny Clarke style wind-up: it flew a dozen metres in front of the car, being harrassed by a Carrion Crow!)
