Our last day was spent selling meteorites at the Norman Lockyer Astronomy Festival: using an H-Alpha telescope I managed to photograph several sunspot clusters and prominences.
A few last-minute wildlife photo opportunities included a Ruddy Shelduck (by the Axe) a Green Woodpecker outside our bedroom window and a Stonechat: the footprint was in mud at Aylesbeare and is, presumably, that of a badger.
The views are from the hills either end of Sidmouth, showing what a fabulous place it is!
