A new look: for the blog and me!

Thought it was time to change the look of the blog - but just a tiny bit!

When I first started back in 2012, my intention was to record the wildlife I came across during my largely-therapeutic daily walks around my village. I'd been told that I was 'borderline type 2 diabetic' but decided to try to control the onset of the condition through exercise and diet: the daily walks were part of this regime.

At some point wildlife surfers began to discover the blog and it now enjoys between 300 and 500 hits most days: most gratifying, considering it doesn't have adverts, click-throughs or daily 'what's about' postings. As I've often said: it's my personal diary, largely concerned with the Norfolk wildlife experiences of myself, my friends and wife Linda: however, I do try to post items that might be of general interest, particularly those to do with Astronomy: my profession and major interest (Apart from birds, of course!)
