Brecks Bash!

Since Norman T - one of our 'Last of the Summer Wine Crew' - hadn't yet connected with the Cavenham Stone Curlews, he, Brian & I grabbed the gap in the weather for an early start in the Brecks. There were still around 40 Stonies present, but they definitely looked 'fidgety'!
Other birds included Linnet, Stonechat, Reed Bunting and a Woodlark.

Drifting homewards, we stopped off at Lackford for lunch and a walk round, adding a calling Chiffchaff and confiding Little Grebe and Kingfisher to the day's tally.

Last birds were at Santon Downham: lots of Siskins and two more Kingfishers. A great day out!
