1) Gone to the right Broads first! (I went to the southern pair!)
2) Had the Hubble telescope on the front of my camera!
By which I mean the target bird was so far away it was a miracle I got any vaguely in-focus images!

White-winged Black Tern at Ormesby
Having picked up my newly-repaired TP lens, the lure of a year-tick at Ormesby was irrestible. In the event, it would have been better had I:
1) Gone to the right Broads first! (I went to the southern pair!)
2) Had the Hubble telescope on the front of my camera!
By which I mean the target bird was so far away it was a miracle I got any vaguely in-focus images!
Still, here they are!
