As I look through my office window now (10 am) it's hard to believe that the sky was 100% clear with no wind at 4.30! But clear it was, allowing me to grab a few more images of the three planets Venus, Mars and Jupiter and a lovely crescent Moon. As can be seen, the rest of the Moon could be seen, faintly glowing in reflected earth-light. This is known in folklore as 'The New Moon in the Old Moon's arms'....
