As I was leaving Buckenham (following a successful bash at the recent Dotterel) I noticed a young couple launching a drone by the railway crossing. It was surprisingly loud for a small craft, scaring nearby Lapwings and Starlings. I wondered what sort of reception they'd've received if they'd been at the river end of the track! Aren't drones banned from RSPB reserves?
