Roller!

Talk about distant! So far away I had to use my 500mm f8 mirror lens: too gloomy, really, but you can see what the fuss was about!

Great to see this long-overdue bird (421 for my UK list!) especially since I'd been a good boy and resisted the urge to zip up to Edgefield until Linda arrived home!
After an hour's wait, the excellent Rob Holmes located the bird flying into a distant pine: it only stayed 5 minutes, before flying away over the trees to the west.....
