Blakeney Laplands and more Dartford Warblers!

A great morning out for Brian, Norman and me, starting with a 7.00am start at my house!
By 8 o'clock we were in the centre hides at Cley, enjoying great views of the common waders: Black-tailed Godwits, Dunlin, Avocets and Ruff amongst others.

A move to Blakeney saw a change in the weather: it grew cooler and duller, but even so the resident seven Lapland Buntings came so close that, at times, our telephoto lenses couldn't focus! We just stood there and let them walk between our feet!

After tea and (gluten free!) stickies at Cley visitor centre we moved to a nearby heath, where we eventually managed to see a couple of Dartford Warblers.
