Since I had parcels to post and lots to do at home, I had a two hour window from 7 until 9 before the post office opened, so I thought I'd have a quick look at Buckenham in case the reported GWE was hanging around. It wasn't!
However, it was an enjoyable walk, with plenty of newly-arrived Whitethroats and Lesser Whitethroats singing from the hawthorns, as well as Cetti's, Sedgies, and dozens of Reed Buntings. I also managed distant views of Greenshank and Wood Sandpiper and twice heard a Crane 'bugling'.
Back home the view from my office window was enlivened by numerous Buzzards, including one really tatty individual.
