Garden Buzzards!

While I was working in the office this morning I heard the unmistakeable cry of a Buzzard: I grabbed my camera and ran out into the garden (OK: stumbled! 😏)
Just a few metres above my head was a pair of these gorgeous raptors, wheeling around each other in tight circles. OK: I've seen some much scarcer birds recently, but there's still a real thrill in having large birds of prey visiting the garden almost daily!

On the topic of patch birds: neighbour Peter has discovered a pair of Little Owls apparently nesting in an oak over the fields from our houses. He can watch them while lying in bed, but I'd need to go behind the shed at the far end of our garden!
