Hobby-fest at Buckenham and a garden menagerie!

Following a very pleasant dinner party last night, I was in need of a revitalising stroll this morning. I thought I'd have a look for the reported Wheatear at Buckenham Marsh: in the event  it was there, but I wasn't in the right place at the right time and failed to find it! There were, perhaps, six or seven Hobbies, however, chasing dragonflies and hirundines above the woods. These were never close enough for decent photography, but you get the idea! Lots of Ruff, a few Avocets and eight Snipe were the only waders: still plenty of Brown and Migrant Hawkers, too.

Back home, our garden is turning into a petting zoo, with the persistent chicken and a family group of Red-legged Partridges.
