Somewhere over the rainbow,
Bonxies fly:
Birds fly over the rainbow,
But not in the Walcott sky...
With rain forecast and a freshening northerly wind, Linda and I made another early start and at 7.15 were the only birders on the seafront at Walcott. Really, we could've had a more leisurely breakfast, because, to be honest, there wasn't much moving out to sea..
Lots of Gannets, of course, as well as a few Scoter, Wigeon and other ducks: plenty of the regular Turnstones, too, including one enjoying a crab breakfast!
