Winter thrushes visit the Heath

As I posted earlier, Redwings and Fieldfares were streaming over the garden in their hundreds at first light (when it was still too dark for photography). The Redwings didn't return, but the Fieldfares did: here are some in our Sycamore tree, preparing to feed on the cotoneaster bush.
